Bathroom that works best for the person living alone : Oneself

Designer Pavel took the concept of utilizing the economy of a single space to develop the “Oneself” bathroom: a bathroom that works best for the person living alone. The essential elements of a full bathroom are incorporated into the wall space, blurring the line between design and utility, conservation and functionality. At a first glance this might appear a simple and good idea, but I think that this idea would be very hard to be created in reality. – Via

Modern Loft Gleimstrasse in Berlin by Graft Architects

Graft Architects has designed this modern loft Gleimstrasse located in Berlin, Germany. The architects transformed the loft gleimstrasse room of a typical 19th-century building into an ultra modern loft design. The Graft Architects described this modern rooftop loft design as an “unfolded cocoon for an open mind,” with an “interplay between private and public spaces.” The layout is open-concept, with a kitchen, living room and bedroom designed for socialization.

Meanwhile hidden from view, functional spaces for storage, beds and sofas, closets and staircases are built into a sculptural wall which the architects call a “mega form” that defines the loft’s various areas with a cave-like quality. One thing this modern loft has in common with most houses, old and new – the kitchen is the hub of the home. This kitchen is finished in high-quality concrete plaster, appearing as though it was carved from a single block. Folding windows and doors open onto two 13-meter balconies, bringing the outdoors in.

Grey Goose Bar by Puresang

This nice looking bar interior design is a collection of an architectural project designed by antwerp designers Puresang. The designer have completed this interior of a bar at the headquarters of vodka brand Grey Goose in Brussels, Belgium. The bar features a faceted wall composed of blue, triangular mirror-tiles and has a conference table at one end of the bar.

The atmospheric light structure is custom made for this project and reflects the sparkles of ice. The wall at the end of the bar gives the room a dramatic feel without being too ‘product placing’. The bottles are used as a screen that feels as an ice wall. Light and projection of light are the main features in this room, creating different perspectives by changing the way you’re located in the space.

Some information from Pure Sang:

Grey goose vodka asked Puresang to design a full operating bar in their headquarters in Brussels. The design became a very exciting play of blue mirrors, cut in triangles and mounted in 3D against the wall to create more depth and tactility in the rather small space. The client asked for a high-roller drinking environment that could also be used as a meeting room. That’s why the high gloss bar runs over in the meeting table.
